1 Killed, 1 Injured In Carrollton Shooting

One person was killed and another was injured in a shooting in the Carrollton area Friday morning.

It happened just before noon in the 1900 block of Cambronne Street, a New Orleans police spokesperson told WDSU.

When officers arrived at the scene, they found a man on the sidewalk who had been shot several times. A short distance away was a 24-year-old man who had also had several gunshot wounds.

The unidentified man was pronounced dead, and the 24-year-old was taken to a hospital and is in stable condition.
