Simple Robbery - Ursulines Avenue & North Dorgenois Street

On Sunday, May 30, 2010 at approximately 9:51 am, police responded to
a simple robbery which occurred on May 29, 2010 at approximately 9:30
pm at the intersection of Ursuline and N. Dorgenois Street.
The victim stated he left his residence riding on a bicycle for work
at approximately 9:00 pm. At approximately 9:30 pm, the victim was
attack by three unkown black males in the intersection of Ursulines
Avenue and North Dorgenois Street. The victim was pulled from his
bicycle to the ground by the three males who kicked and punched him.
After the attack the subjects grabbed the victims pouch from the
bicycle and fled in an unknown direction.
The subjects made good their escape with the following items:
1. $150.00 in US Currency
2. Black Leather wallet
3. Money Gram Access Card
4. Eye glasses
5.Samsung Cellular Phone
6. Florida Identification card
7. Pouch with "Westlaw" inscribed in white thread containing various
business cards
The perpetrator is described as:
B/M, 18 - 20 years of age, 5'6", dark skin, shoulder length dredlock
hair, white t-shirt, blue jeans
This investigation is ongoing.
