Algiers woman shot remains in critical condition

An Algiers woman shot?Tuesday morning remains in critical condition, while the suspect in the shooting?has been arrested.
Curtis WilliamsThe 38-year old woman was shot in the head and hand in the 1700 block of Shirley Drive shortly before 12:33 a.m., according to information released by the New Orleans police. Her boyfriend, Curtis Williams, 41, has been arrested in connection with the shooting.
Police said that the couple apparently were having an argument when Williams shot the?unidentified victim. Williams then left the Algiers home, and was later apprehended at his own residence in Jefferson Parish.?Williams is in custody at the Orleans Parish jail and has been booked with aggravated burglary and attempted first degree murder.?
