New Orleans police investigate shooting in Lower Garden District

A male was shot late Friday night in the leg in the Lower Garden District, authorities said.
"The injury is not life-threatening," officer Janssen Valencia said, who did not provide the age of the victim.
The shooting occurred about 10:13 p.m. in the 1900 block of Annunciation Street.
Police so far have no motive or suspects, Valencia said.
